Regulatory screening is a Clausum-managed add-on (CLM-ADD-SCREEN). When enabled for your organization, POST /api/v1/assess and POST /api/v1/assess/payout check names, SWIFT/BIC, and countries against Clausum-operated sanctions lists.

Activation

Contact your Clausum account manager for CLM-ADD-SCREEN. Staff enables the entitlement; you will see Regulatory screening on Protection and Settings → Services when active.

Verify it works

  1. Confirm the strip / Services row shows screening active.
  2. Run Simulation (or Partner assess) with a known test name/country agreed with Clausum — or a benign payload that includes customer_name / beneficiary.name and country fields.
  3. On a hit, expect sanctions_match or sanctions_country_match in the assess response (list origin masked).
  4. Confirm the same session appears in Transaction Monitor / Protection.

Lists and freshness

Clausum staff syncs OFAC SDN (and related managed entries) into platform tables. Lists are updated on a schedule — not per-tenant configuration. Your dashboard shows last sync time via the compact screening strip (ℹ️).
This add-on is not a full KYC/PEP platform. It complements your compliance stack with pre-movement screening at assess time.
